I know what it's like to cope.
That's why I do this work.
It’s not about doing more—it’s about relating to yourself differently.
My Story
What I learned when I finally stopped.
For most of my adult life, I kept moving forward—on the outside, it always looked like I had it together. But the truth was, I was coping in all the ways that culture quietly rewards: staying busy, productive, numb and disconnected.
I avoided any kind of deeper inquiry into my life. I minimized my challenges. I compared my experiences to people who I believed had it objectively worse. And above all, I told myself I was fine.
I spent years in a high-stress career that left little room for what I really cared about. Art and music faded into the background. My health was fragile. I leaned on alcohol and cannabis to take the edge off—and tried, unsuccessfully, to moderate both. I was managing—but not living.
Finally, getting laid off was the rupture I didn’t know I needed.
It forced me to finally stop. To question everything.
And to find a new way forward.
That’s when I found Internal Family Systems (IFS).
For the first time, I understood that my struggles weren’t personal failures—they were protective responses. That the parts of me I’d tried to suppress were actually trying to help. And that healing wasn’t about fixing myself—it was about learning how to relate to myself differently.
IFS gave me a framework, a philosophy, and a path that felt true in my bones.
I’ve since trained extensively in IFS, somatic trauma work, and nervous system healing. But the real foundation of my work is lived experience. I know what it’s like to survive for a long time—and to finally feel what it means to come home to yourself.
That’s the path I’m on.
And it’s the path I now hold space for others to walk, too.

The principles that guide me.
- People don’t stay stuck because they’re unmotivated or incapable—they stay stuck because their internal system is protecting them in ways they don’t consciously recognize.
- You are not your struggles—you are the Self who can witness them.
- Healing isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about befriending yourself.
- Our bodies hold trauma, and our nervous systems must be part of the process.
- Coping isn’t the end goal, freedom is. We are meant to live with clarity and ease, and in wholeness.
Client Testimonials
What this work makes possible.
“Sessions with Meghan remind me of a soul retrieval, finding the parts of myself long ago abandoned and left to languish and simultaneously cry out for attention, subconsciously keeping me in deep-seated patterns. Meghan has masterfully guided me, exploring my internal emotional landscape of parts (there are so many!), showing me how to listen, feel into, show compassion and provide healing to whichever parts are activated at that time. With this framework and Meghan’s subtle and steady guidance, keen insight and wisdom, I have been able to access my deepest wounds and grieve what needed to be grieved, both in session and on my own.
It’s also provided a process for deep self-love, which has been so elusive to me, until now. I’m seeing some radical shifts in codependent behavior patterns, my nervous system not jumping into the old gears, leaving me to respond neutrally, which feels like the ultimate liberation. I can’t recommend this work and Meghan enough!”

“Working with Meghan has been a game-changer. She’s an incredible listener who validates my feelings while holding me accountable and helping me see things from new perspectives. Since we started working together, I’ve developed more compassion for myself, improved how I communicate, and learned how to understand and express my needs and boundaries effectively.
Meghan doesn’t just make me feel seen and heard—she empowers me to take action and create meaningful change. Every session feels like a huge release and I walk away each time with more knowledge and understanding of myself and how to navigate my world. Because of her guidance, I’m a better partner, communicator, and more connected to myself.”
